70% of Lithuanians consider Russia a threat to national security

Seven out of ten Lithuanians believe that Russia poses a real threat to Lithuania’s national security, according to a poll commissioned by LRT.

During the study, 1,115 adult residents of Lithuania were interviewed. The error of the results does not exceed 2.9%.

Respondents were asked whether, in their opinion, Russia poses a real threat to Lithuania’s national security.

As the survey showed, seven out of ten residents believe that Russia poses a real threat to Lithuania’s national security.

29% answered that Russia does really pose a threat, 41% – rather yes, about a quarter of respondents said that they do not consider the Russian Federation a threat, and 19% were unsure or did not want to answer.
