The Russian propaganda machine often engages foreigners to spread Kremlin disinformation narratives. Most of the times, these people have a lot in common – they all love Russia while hate their own country, do not respect democracy, and prefer various conspiracy theories over real things.
Liz Churchill, a blogger allegedly from Canada (aka @liz_churchill10 in X) is one of this kind of people. She’s best-known for spreading the most outrageous conspiracy theories, and for promoting pro-Kremlin narratives on social media. It seems that Liz believes almost all existing conspiracy theories. Among them – globalist satanic cults, vaccines/Bill Gates/Klaus Schwab, HIV/AIDS is a bioweapon, Pizzagate. She even believes that the Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris is part fish. According to Liz Churchill 9/11 Tragedy was an “inside job”, but she also wonders why the WEF leader Klaus Schwab was having “outdoor lunch” (he was not) in NYC in a place “that had a perfect view of the WTC… when they collapsed…on 9-11”.
She uses a very shady media as trustworthy sources of the information for her posts. Among them – The People’s Voice, Info Wars, Real America’s Voice, and straight Russian disinformation and propaganda. Despite being a Canadian, she is a big fan and supporter of Donald Trump. She believes that Trump was arrested for exposing the Biden family’s “child-sex trafficking”. According to her, the Bidens also invested into US-Ukrainian bioweapons labs, one of the most popular and old topics of Russian disinformation. Liz often writes about Ukraine with all the old plates like the “secret” US/CIA/Ukrainian biolabs, “Ukrainian Nazis”, EuroMaidan was a “CIA coup” orchestrated by Victoria Nuland, etc. Also, she was one of the first people to spread lies about Ukrainian President Zelenskyy allegedly buying a house from King Charles.
She sees Putin as the only hope, a savior of the world who’s fighting against “LGBTQPS Propaganda”, “Child Sterilization”, “Gender Dysphoria Cult” “Pedophilia” and the satanic globalists. As most of foreign Russia lovers Liz never wanted to leave Canada and go to Moscow.
She allegedly used a technique called rage farming to grow her account. It is simple – users are posting the most outrageous, usually made-up stuff in order to garner likes and shares. This strategy is used by many conspiratorial accounts and bots. Currently her account has 413 thousand followers in X.
Unfortunately, there are many followers and supporters of her propaganda. And the current problem of social media is that this kind of people and their posts are not blocked on platforms like X. But social media need to pay more attention to such “users”, because their dangerous influence is growing bigger and bigger.
