A Russian airstrike on a school in town of Bilohorivka in Luhansk Region in eastern Ukraine has killed 60 people, according to preliminary reports.
Source: Serhii Haidai, head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration reports Ukrayinska Pravda.
30 people have been rescued from under the rubble, seven of whom were injured.
Quote from Haidai: “On 7 May, a Russian airstrike in Bilohorivka triggered fires in a school building covering an area of about 300 square metres, as well as in a cultural centre. It took almost four hours to extinguish the fire, after which the rubble was removed. Unfortunately, the bodies of two people were found. It is likely that all 60 people left under the rubble of the buildings have been killed.”
