Finland reveals details of Russian ship border violation.

According to the Finnish Border Guard, it is the Russian research vessel Mikhail Kazansky. It entered Finnish territorial waters in the area south of Hamina.
The vessel traveled about 1.2 nautical miles in Finnish territorial waters. The border crossing was recorded by the Border Guard’s surveillance systems and the Coast Guard’s patrol boat. The Coast Guard patrol boat was close to the Russian vessel during the incident. Several attempts were also made to contact Mikhail Kazansky by radio, but these were unsuccessful.

The Border Guard is investigating the incident as a violation of the territorial boundary. The previous territorial violation took place on 10 June, when four Russian aircraft entered Finnish airspace. Two bombers and two fighters violated Finnish airspace in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland, entering 2.5 kilometers deep into its territory.

The Russian Federation systematically organizes provocations against Ukraine’s allies in order to cut off aid and intimidate them. In this way, Russia is a constant threat to the world, constantly trying to break decades-old laws and regulations. But actively supporting Ukraine in the Russian-Ukrainian war is an effective way to stop Russian provocations.
