The General Staff of the Polish Army has launched a large-scale information campaign aimed at combating Kremlin propaganda and disinformation. The goal is to raise awareness among Polish citizens about the methods of Russian propaganda and to help them better understand how to protect themselves from manipulation. The campaign involves regular publications on the X platform (formerly Twitter) and covers various aspects of disinformation and its consequences.
Every Monday, the General Staff publishes materials that examine different aspects of Russian disinformation in detail. The first publication is dedicated to the so-called “education bubble,” which convinces Russians that Russia is a victim of aggressive Western actions.
Since the beginning of the full-scale aggression against Ukraine, Poland has become one of Ukraine’s most consistent and reliable partners. Polish support is crucial not only for stabilizing the situation in Ukraine but also for ensuring the security of the entire European continent.
This has prompted Russia to intensify information and psychological operations aimed at undermining Ukrainian-Polish relations. Russia uses the tactic of “information injections,” spreading disinformation and manipulative news through various channels. This involves both distorted official statements by Polish and Ukrainian officials and outright fakes.
Kremlin propaganda is directed not only against Poland and Ukraine but also against all democratic countries in Europe, attempting to undermine their unity and stability.
