One of the main Russian ideologues and propagandists, Alexander Dugin, prepared a document for Putin in which he called for sending 100,000 Russian military personnel to Syria. And intimidate Europe and the USA at the same time.
“Trump hints that we are weak, talks about hundreds of thousands of casualties. But all these hundreds of thousands are a sign of our strength! A sign that we will not spare blood for the interests of Russia. Someone else’s blood and my own”, claimed Dugin.
“We need to send troops to Syria again, at least 100 thousand people. To wash away the shame. And that all of Syria was ours.”
Trump’s words also provoked a sharp reaction. “The day before, I called Trump’s words about the peace deal on Ukraine monstrous news. I stand by my opinion. Any kind of peace is unacceptable now. We need to increase the pressure and win. Therefore, we must give a powerful response to all peaceful proposals. Fight to the death across the country”, Dugin stressed.
“Take Kyiv, then Lviv, then Warsaw. Go to Berlin and Paris. Scare the rotten and cowardly West. Show Trump that he is not as strong as he wants to appear. Show all the European allies of America that we cannot be humiliated!”
On more Dugin’s sharp reaction was caused by a video in which American troops entered the territory of the former Russian military base in Syria. “The video shows the humiliation of Russia, which can only be washed away with blood. I will be honest, I cried when I saw it. It is a shame, a humiliation. We must respond.” Dugin added that he had conveyed his “proposals for overcoming the consequences of the Syrian shame” to the Kremlin. And I am sure that they have been reported to Vladimir Putin.
It is obvious that Russia will not abandon the idea of regaining control in Syria by force and is preparing a military response. That is why the Russians should not have any bases in Syria, because the massive bombing and destruction of the civilian population will begin again. Moreover, Russia should also be a party to the International Criminal Court’s investigation into all the crimes of the Assad regime and Russian handlers.
