Russian War Crimes in Ukraine: Update as of 14 June

For three months and twenty-one days in a row, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people have been resisting new and new attacks by the Russian occupiers in various directions. Ukraine appreciates all the assistance provided by international partners.The Russian occupiers are using methods that violate the rules of war. They attack civilian infrastructure, killing and injuring civilians, including children, and make actions that can have regional and international consequences. We have prepared an update of such actions of the occupiers as of the morning of June 14.

Donetsk RegionThe chairman of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko reported, that on June 13 the Russian invaders killed at least 3 and injured 5 civilians while shelling Avdiivka, Novoselivka Persha, And Kurakhivka. Also, on June 13 2 people died in Donetsk Region who were injured previous days in Luhansk Region.

Luhansk RegionAccording to the chairman of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai, on June 13 the Russian occupiers continued assaulting Severodonetsk. The Russian troops were striking the residential quarters, as well as the Azot and Skloplastyk chemical plants, where the civilians were hiding. Serhiy Haidai stressed that he had information on several casualties due to those attacks, but there was no access for those people because of constant fire. In addition, the Russian militants destroyed the last bridge that connected Severodonetsk with the other free part of Ukraine. Generally, on June 13 the Russian invaders fired at the civilian infrastructure in Lysychansk, Hirske, Vrubivka, and Toshkivka. At least 1 person was injured due to those attacks.

Kharkiv RegionThe head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Synehubov, on June 13 the Russian troops killed 1 and injured 5 civilians (including 3 children) while shelling Kharkiv, Malynivka, Pechenihy, and Zavhorodne.Dnipro RegionAccording to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Valentyn Reznichenko, on June 13 the Russian invaders struck at Zelenodolsk and Pokrovske Communities with artillery and MLRS. At least 1 civilian was killed due to those attacks.

Zaporizhzhia RegionThe Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration informed, that on June 13 the Russian troops struck at the civilian infrastructure in Stepnohirsk and Kamianske. One house and one school were damaged due to those attacks.Also, the institution reported new cases of kidnapping the civilians by the Russian militants in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia Region. Thus, the Russian occupiers detained the residents of Kostiantynivka, couple Anzhela and Oleksandr Sultan. Also, in Enerhodar the invaders kidnapped Kyryl Slyvka. Their whereabouts are unknown.

Kherson RegionAccording to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, on June 13 the Russian invaders shelled the residential quarters and bus station in Novovorontsovka. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but several buildings were damaged or destroyed. Also, the volunteer Volodymyr Bahnenko informed, that during those attacks the Russian occupiers had ruined the family-type orphanage.

Mykolaiv RegionThe head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council Hanna Zamazeeva reported, that on June 13 the Russian invaders shelled the residential quarters of Mykolaiv City, as well as Bereznehuvate, Shyroke, Inhulka, Halitsynove, Kutsurub, Kostiantynivka, and Shevchenkove Communities. At least 23 people were injured due to those attacks.
