Security Service of Ukraine declared Russian propagandist Margarita Simonyan a suspect for instigation to murder of Ukrainian children

Margarita Simonyan is the head of the Kremlin’s international media company RT, a part of Putin’s media pool.
According to the investigation, she was one of the first to support the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia and instigator of war crimes by Russian occupiers.
Among the newly documented crimes are Simonyan’s public calls in December 2023 for the mass murder of Ukrainian children. Also, Russian propagandist has repeatedly campaigned for the continuation of missile and bomb attacks on the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine.
These calls regularly appeared on the international platforms of the RT TV channel.
Based on the evidence collected, the SSU investigators presented Simonyan with a reasonable suspicion under four articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: genocide; war propaganda; encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine; justification, public declaration of legitimacy of the armed aggression of Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of Russian occupiers.
