Explosions, destroyed residential buildings, mutilated bodies of children, women, and elderly people… It seems that these are the frames of one of documentaries about the Second World War. It seems that after all that happened to humanity during World War II, this could not have happened in the 21st century. Unfortunately, it happens almost every day in Ukraine.
Everything that the UK experienced in the 1940s, when German Luftwaffe bombers destroyed cities, towns, and villages of the British Isles, is now experienced by the residents of Ukraine due to the use of ballistic and cruise missiles by the Russian army. When you look at the photos of the Kyiv subway, where people are forced to hide from deadly missiles and UAVs, the photos from the Picadilly Circus station of the London subway in the 1940s slowly come to mind.
Ukrainians are now fighting against Russian evil, which seeks to completely destroy them as a nation, just as the British fought against the Nazis, who in the same way had an intention to exterminate other nations and races. The perfect example of the Russian tactics is another missile attack on Ukraine, during which the rogue state used 120 missiles and 90 UAVs. The objects hit by the Russian troops were residential buildings in the city of Sumy, as a result of which 89 people were injured and 11 people were killed, including two children. The Russian Federation did not stop and destroyed a densely populated area of the city of Odesa. As a result, 47 people were injured and ten were killed.
There is only one question arising in my mind. Does the pariah state, which strikes residential buildings and kills innocent civilians, really want to negotiate with Ukraine?
