Humiliation of the aggressor: Politico called Putin a loser

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin finally lost his reputation as an influential leader in the world. After the Russian army’s failed operation “Kyiv in 3 days”, the head of the Kremlin is considered a “loser”.

Putin announced a failed dreamer

Journalists of the American publication Politico created its annual ranking of the most influential people in Europe, which they do every year. The media dispatched famous politicians and figures into specific categories.

The first page of the edition is dedicated to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. He was recognized as the most influential leader in Europe.

At the same time, the head of the aggressor country, the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, fell into the “Dreamers” category. He ended up far behind and signed as a “loser.”

The publication noted that the aggressor’s dream of a great Russia is unlikely to come true. His full-scale war against Ukraine collapsed almost as quickly as it began. Now his troops are barely holding on in the East of Ukraine.

Putin has long sought to return Russia to the status of a great power it had during the Soviet period. Instead, his invasion relegated Moscow to third-world status, unable to overcome an adversary it underestimated and despised, Politico said.

At the same time, journalists suggest that Putin’s stubbornness means the war is likely to drag on.

Lavrov became one of the “violators” with his propaganda

By the way, Putin is not the only Russian in Politico’s 2023 edition. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov joined him in the negative rankings.

However, the government official fell into another category – “violators.” He was called a “dark diplomat.”

Lavrov managed to convince the world of dependence on Russia and that sanctions against the aggressor state will hit Europe. For this, Lavrov used usual Russian propaganda with the narratives that have been used for years. At least he has some achievements, unlike Putin.
