President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote in a post on his Facebook page that Russia would be held accountable for the massive missile attack it launched on residential structures in the city of Zaporizhzhya in the early hours of October 9.

Zelenskyy published: “Zaporizhzhya again.”

The latest in a series of serious assaults on people by the Russians in recent days, he posted images and videos of the aftermath of the attack on residents in Zaporizhzhya.

On October 9, Russia launched two missile attacks on the city of Zaporizhzhya. Preliminary information indicates that the invaders launched at least 12 missiles into the city, mostly at private residences and high buildings.

The missile strikes resulted in at least 12 deaths and 49 hospitalizations, including six children.

The Russian army has been consistently hitting civilian infrastructure and residential buildings in Zaporizhzhya for the past few days. 18 persons were killed as a result of an incident on October 6. Thirty-one individuals were killed on September 30 due to the attack on a row of cars.
