Threatened Baltic sea region: Russia threatens the world with nuclear weapons

“Russia will deploy nuclear weapons in the Baltic region,” said Dmitry Medvedev, former Russian President who is currently the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council.

Yes, he said that Russia would consider Sweden and Finland as “official adversaries” after joining NATO. In response, Russia will increase not only air defense forces and ground forces at the border but will deploy nuclear weapons. Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia are also under threat.

According to Medvedev, Sweden and Finland joining NATO have nothing to do with the Russian aggression against Ukraine. Previously, the Kremlin cited NATO enlargement and the possibility of Ukraine’s accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization as a reason for invading Ukraine.

Hours after the Kremlin warned Helsinki against joining NATO on April 12, heavy weapons, including missile systems, were spotted in Russia on the border with Finland.

At the same time, the United States warns that Russia’s claims about the use of tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine should not be taken lightly. The Kremlin may take such a step, as Moscow continues to face difficulties on the battlefield. This was announced by CIA Director Bill Burns, on Thursday, April 14, CNN reported.

We would like to flag our previous reports that the Russian propaganda machine has launched a campaign to justify the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine. In particular, Kremlin bloggers have begun to write that the use of nuclear weapons is possible and even necessary.
