Germany Arrests a Spy at Leipzig Airport

On suspicion of collaborating with Chinese intelligence, Leipzig detained a Chinese woman who worked at the airport that ships military cargoes to Ukraine.

She is 38 years old. She worked for a company that provides logistics services at Leipzig Airport.

According to the prosecution, the detainee repeatedly transmitted information about flights, passengers, and military cargo to an agent of the Chinese intelligence services.

Leipzig Airport serves as a crucial logistics hub for Germany’s military industry, facilitating the export of arms and military cargo to Ukraine.

A little earlier, authorities detained the agent to whom the suspect was passing information. This concerns Jian G., who worked as an assistant to Member of the European Parliament Maximilian Kra from the far-right German party “Alternative for Germany” (AfD).

The agent chain was created through the Chinese and the right-wing radical party AfD, which is orientated towards Moscow, to cover the main beneficiary and profit recipient.

Russian agents pose a significant threat to democratic societies.
